With a background in Engineering, Construction and Project Management, Tarek has been involved in Property Development for more than 20 years’. Project experience ranges from Townhouses to Major Distribution Centres through to complex Retail Mixed Used Developments.

As Managing Director of Statewide Services, Tarek has been involved in a number of successful Neighborhood Retail projects including Eve Central in Cranbourne North, Mernda Villages Shopping Centre in Mernda and more recently Coburg Hill in Coburg North (under construction).  Tarek has also completed a diverse range of residential projects including boutique apartment buildings in inner city suburbs including Brighton, St Kilda, Armadale and Hawthorn.

Tarek has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, is a Registered Building Practitioner, a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia and the Master Builders Association.

Brad has over 15 years’ experience in residential development across 3 states of Australia.  Throughout his career, Brad has worked in all facets of the development process from acquisitions and planning to construction, marketing and sales

Brad has held executive level roles including General Manager Victoria and Queensland for Satterley Property Group following 8 years at listed developer Stockland.  At Stockland, Brad held roles including State Development Manager and Project Director.  Prior to his time at Stockland, Brad worked in Perth for Heath Development Company.

Brad has been involved in significant master planned projects including Coburg Hill (Satterley), the award winning Selandra Rise and Highlands (both by Stockland).

Brad is a contributor to industry issues through the Property Council of Australia (Residential Developers Committee).  Brad is a Licensed Real Estate Agent, a member of the REIV and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Property.

Sally has over 10 years’ experience as a Commercial and Finance Manager in the property and construction sector. Sally joined APD April 2015 and is responsible for financial, planning and risk management for the APD portfolio.

Sally has worked on a number of small, medium and large scale residential, commercial, mixed use and industrial developments across Metropolitan and Regional Victoria. As a result Sally has extensive experience with project financial modelling and management, contract negotiations, risk management and developing financial plans.

Sally served as a Commercial Manager, Finance Manager and Business Analyst at Places Victoria having also working with Melbourne builders and subcontractors previously.
Sally holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is qualified Chartered Accountant.

Gill Banez

Senior Development Manager

Gill has worked in the land development industry for 9 years’.  After commencing his career as a consulting civil engineer focusing on project design and construction, Gill worked as a Project Engineer on Delfin’s Caroline Springs master planned community.

Gill subsequently held Development Management positions at Evolve Development and Peet Ltd, managing land projects of varying scale across Melbourne’s growth areas.  Past project experience includes Summerhill in Epping and The Woods & Annadale in Mickleham (both by Evolve Development) and Cardinia Lakes in Pakenham (by Peet Ltd).

Gill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil).

Jacqueline Holst

Jacqueline has nearly 8 years’ experience in the property and construction industry.  Jacqueline joined APD in June 2013 and manages the operational aspects of the business, including two strategic development sites in Melbourne’s western growth areas.

Jacqueline has experience across the development industry including planning and approvals, construction management, customer service, sales and marketing.

Prior to joining APD, Jacqueline held the title of Development Manager at FKP, working on Saltwater Coast, a master planned community  in Point Cook.  Prior to her time at FKP, Jacqueline worked in contracts management for two Melbourne home builders.

Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Property from RMIT.

Tim has worked in the property industry for over 6 years commencing his career as a valuer at CBRE, specialising in the englobo land subdivision market. Tim moved into property development working at Peet Ltd on a number of projects in the South-East before joining APD in January 2015.

Past project experience includes Cardinia Lakes in Pakenham and Botanic Village Estate in Botanic Ridge. Tim holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property/Valuations) from RMIT and is a member of the Australian Property Institute (API).

Sarah Shortall

Sarah has worked in the development industry for 5 years. A civil engineering/business graduate, Sarah commenced her development career at Peet Ltd following a period working in the United Kingdom in Engineering and Communications.

After joining Peet, Sarah quickly progressed with responsibility for the delivery of more than 650 lots and major infrastructure at Quarters and Livingston, two master-planned communities in Melbourne’s South East growth corridor.  Sarah has enjoyed additional project experience with the syndication of Cornerstone, Werribee (Peet), stage delivery at Haven, Tarneit (Peet) and project management of Karrina Kew apartments (client consultancy for Urban).

Sarah holds a double degree in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering/Business Management from RMIT.

Vanessa Sultana

Office Manager

Vanessa is an administration specialist having spent over five years as a Senior Business Trainer at Suzan Johnston Australia; teaching up and coming administrators best practice
skills in Customer Service and Certificate III Business Administration.

Vanessa commenced her career as a corporate receptionist before moving into business training.  Vanessa specialises in corporate event management, complex travel arrangements, client presentations and office management.

Following time at Suzan Johnston Australia, Vanessa worked as an executive assistant at one of Australia’s most iconic FMCG companies before taking on the role of Office Manager at APD Projects.   

Vanessa’s efficient and friendly demeanour provide a natural complement to the busy day to day management of the APD Office and front of house functions.
