One of our passions at APD projects, and something we are very proud of, is our commitment to quality landscaping and parks for our communities to thrive in. APD has partnered with Fleming’s Landscapes to deliver public open spaces that stand the test of time.
“The first of our new community gardens were installed in 2015 and we’re now seeing after a couple of years of maturity, the benefit that a developer-installed front yard is having on the quality of the streetscapes”, says Brad Paddon, APD Projects Director. “The gardens are more mature, the street trees are more pronounced and it’s overall a leafier environment.”
APD and Fleming’s have developed a synergy in how we think about public open spaces. Wes Fleming, Fleming’s Landscapes Director says, “We don’t want to do the same thing as everybody else. We want to provide better places [and] community spaces. We want to build the best residential communities possible.”
Our newest park is currently under construction at Anchoridge Estate in Armstrong Creek. Due to be complete in 2021, the 3-hectare public space is set to be one of the premier open space destinations within the entire Armstrong Creek area. Paddon says, “the bar’s been set pretty high here, and we’re really look forward to topping that”.
